Student Session Requests - Tutors
If enabled by an administrator, students requests for sessions are available for tutors to view and claim.
Find a Student
To view open session requests, navigate to tutor tools > Find a Student. This option is only available if enabled by an administrator.
Tutors can filter or search in order to narrow down the list of session requests that they see. This allows tutors to find the right session for them!
- Search by student name
- Filter by: time, days of the week, subjects, schools, or grade levels
Each session card will show the request information from the student. Session information will include:
- Student Name
- Student School
- Grade level
- Days of the week the sessions will occur on
- Time of the session
- Start and end date for the recurring sessions
- Subject of the session
- Information regarding if the session will take place online or in person
After finding the right session to claim, clicking "select" will allow the tutor to claim the session.
- The bottom bar will show the maximum number of students tutors can work with at one time. If this number is greater than one, tutors will be able to claim additional students for the same time until they have met the ratio.
Once a request is claimed, a session will be created between the student and the tutor. These sessions can be viewed on the tutor's session page.
