Home Ecosystem - Tutors

Tutors with multiple ecosystems are able to see their upcoming sessions and sub requests from all ecosystems on the home ecosystem!

Accessing the home ecosystem

The home ecosystem is only available to users who have one account across multiple ecosystem. These users will see a left panel with all their ecosystems as well as a 'home' ecosystem at the top of the list.

Users who do not see the left panel are not part of multiple ecosystems and will not have access to the home view.

  • Users who are a part of multiple ecosystems and do not see this bar or have a missing ecosystem may have been added to ecosystems under a separate email. They will need to be re-added with the same email across all ecosystems to gain access to them in one view.
  • Users in training may not have been added to all ecosystems yet. Please reach out to the admin for the program for additional details if home access is not available and it should be.

To access the ecosystem, select the 'home' icon at the top of the ecosystem list on the left hand panel.

Upcoming Sessions

Users are able to view all upcoming sessions across ecosystems from the home view.

  • After selecting the home view, users will automatically be directed to the upcoming sessions page where all upcoming sessions will be available to view.
  • On this page, they will be able to join sessions, mark attendance, or select manage session to be re-directed to the ecosystem for the session to make edits on the session or request a sub for the session.
  • Users who want to view past sessions, will need to navigate to the ecosystem that the session took place on and select completed session. The completed sessions view for tutor users is not currently available on the home view.

Sub Requests

Users are able to view all substitute requests for all programs that they are a part of that have the sub request board enabled.

  • To view the sub board on the home view: select 'home' on the left hand panel.
  • Next, select sub requests on the top header. On this page users will be able to view and claim open sub requests across ecosystems.

Frequently Asked Questions - Home Ecosystem

My program admin told me to use the home ecosystem, but I am unable to login.

  • If you are unable to login via the home ecosystem, you may not have been added to multiple ecosystems. Only users that are a part of more than one ecosystem will have access to the home view.
    • Sometimes this happens during a training period when an admin will only add a user to a training ecosystem before giving them full access.
    • This can also occur if accounts with differing emails were set up for a user. Accounts that have different emails will not be connected or allow the user to see both accounts in one place.
    • Next steps: Reach out to the administrator for your program to clarify if you should have access to the home ecosystem.
  • Your email or password may be incorrect.
    • Next steps: Navigate to your original ecosystem url and select 'forgot password'. The 'forgot password' flow is not available on the home ecosystem and can only be used on an original ecosystem. The URL for this ecosystem can be found in the invitation email sent to you from info@goschoolbox.com. If you are unsure of the email for your account, reach out to your program administrator to ask them for the email.

I am part of multiple ecosystems, but do not see the left bar when I login.

I do not see all of the ecosystems that I am a part of on the left bar.

  • If you do not see all the ecosystems that you expect to see on the left bar when logging in, you may not have been added to those ecosystems with the same email.

I am unable to see any sub requests on the home bar.

  • Sub requests are only available if a tutor is a part of one or more programs that have sub requests enabled.
  • If you see the sub requests tab, but there are no requests listed, all requests have been claimed at this time.
  • If you do not see the sub request tab, reach out to your program admin to determine if this feature has been enable for one or more of the programs that you are leader in.
